Percy Gumbi-Khuzwayo MBA is the founder of Thupris Capital. He brings extensive experience in finance and consulting, combined with a strong entrepreneurial mindset. Over the course of his career, he has contributed to the development of more than 300 enterprises through the Transnet-funded Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD) programme.
He spent nearly a decade as a consultant at the National Empowerment Fund (NEF), where he worked on a range of assignments, including corporate finance, business turnarounds, financial model design, back office support, and post-investment management.
Since 2013, he has been affiliated with GIBS as an adjunct lecturer and mentor in various Enterprise Development Academy programmes, engaging with high-potential entrepreneurs such as Sihle’s Brew and Portia M. In parallel, he has mentored ventures at The Innovation Hub, supporting businesses from pre-revenue to revenue-generating stages.
